Banh Mi was tasty, beef was more expensive but not “choice” cut. Tofu had excellent flavor and crisp. Noodle bowl was delicious. Service was pleasant and food came out FAST! Reasonable prices. Conjoined bar area looked fun, complete with pool table and other games. Bathroom was not clean and mildly scary.

Great bar with 2 pool tables, fantastic customer service and some absolutely delicious food. The crab ragoons are freaking delicious and the absolute best I've ever had!! There are many banh mi options that are spectacular and super fresh. The egg roll noodle salad is something special. A Honeydew bubble tea to go was a such a treat and a wonderful ending to our meal. We have been back and I'm happy to say the Vietnamese stew the bartender recommended previously was fabulous. Also the deep fried tofu was excellent. We've been through the menu now and you just cannot go wrong. ENJOY!! We will be back!!
Surprising find outside the major cities. Fun little joint with a mix of pool tables and what looks like a good joint for nightly events. The facilities was pretty clean until an aggressive fly kept trying to get to my food. I ordered a bo kho, chef's special. For the location, the food is decent but I like the soup texture a little thicker and the taste was not authentic enough for me. I enjoyed the carrot decor, the soft meat, and the bread was perfectly crunchy. The presentation looks great! Although the bowl looks small, it was a good size. Loved the little touches of the restaraunt decor. I knocked another star down because a bigger group that ordered after me got all their food served first, albeit sandwiches, and the server didn't offer me any water as a single customer. If I'm in the area again, I'll consider trying their drinks and sandwich.
Driving around one day with my daughter, we decided we needed a sandwich. I asked her if she ever had a Bang Mi sandwich? I was genuinely surprised when I realized we had one in Marysville. We went in, and it is a large bar with a small restaurant next to a convenience store. Pool tables, huge TV's, large bar. I considered leaving thinking that it was bar food, but my daughter grabbed a menu, and I realized they did have a large variety of the Banh Mi sandwiches We bought 5 different ones so we could do a real taste test. They were awesome and exactly what I was hoping for, great bread, fresh veggies, delicious meat options. I will be back!
Update: Went for the second time and it was even better! They even have a bahn mi punch card! I cannot recommend District 1 enough! Tried District 1 for the first time. The restaurant was clean and the menu options were good. The prices are really affordable, $6 for a bahn mi is great! Our order was out quickly and the guy was super nice and welcoming. I got a beef bahn mi and it was quite tasty. The bread is the soft of the inside with a perfectly crisp outside. The beef was tender and yummy, the veggies were super fresh. My mom got the chicken rice plate and she said it was really good also. I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back.
